Heyyy my name is Katie and the BEST news had just come through that I’ve been offered a place to study musical theatre at Italia Conti on the course I’ve been dreaming of for sooo long!!! But I really need your guys help in any and every way possible because there’s absolutely no way I can afford it on my own. ❤️❤️
9-year-old me, playing a munchkin in the wizard of oz never dreamed it would be possible but now that it is, my new barrier is the scary cost of rent and bills as I have to move out of home. I’ve been accepted to begin my studies in September, 2023 with fees originally at £15,000 per year but I’m so grateful that I have been awarded a bursary to help reduce the fees as much as possible. However, as I would have to move away from home, any help towards rent would really help mine and my family’s peace of mind as it is likely to cost around £900 per month. (Obviously I will look for a part-time job whilst I’m there).
Performing is my happy place, the time I know my worth and the time I feel untouchable because I can show everyone the best version of me. I can’t live without it and I’ve dreamed of performing for my whole life for as long as I can remember! Your support on social media has meant the absolute world to me and I will be forever grateful! If anyone feels like they could spare any money, however small the amount it would be massively appreciated! If this isn’t something you can help with, please please please share it to someone who can!
