Katie, Kyle and Baby Konnor

At the beginning of October 2023, Katie went to the emergency room and was admitted for a long term stay due to high blood pressure. After being on mandatory bed rest in the hospital for 3 weeks, Katie and Kyle believed her blood pressure was improving with medication. However, on October 28, 2023, Katie had an emergency C-Section and delivered their beautiful baby boy Konnor at 31 weeks gestation. Konnor is a strong NICU warrior and has made amazing strides so far!

This is an update from Katie’s Facebook page:

“Hey y’all, some of you know but many don’t so we wanted to give an update. Konnor had a routine echo done on Monday and unfortunately they found a mass on his heart. He is in the process of being airlifted to Children’s hospital in New Orleans and we are waiting for him. We are waiting to find out results on what the mass is. He is still our happy and feisty baby boy and it doesn’t seem to be hurting him and we pray that it continues to not hurt him.”

Donations will help relieve some of the stress for Katie and Kyle. They are staying in New Orleans to be closer to Konnor while they figure out what is going on with their sweet boy. So anything helps! Please even if you can’t donate to pray for them as they navigate this time and pray for Konnor to keep getting stronger and healthier.
