Katie Runyan- Medical

Hi, This is Sami and Chrissy, Katie's sisters. We started a go fund me for Katie to help offset some of her expenses since she has been in the hospital. When Katie leaves the hospital she will likely have many restrictions and not be able to go back to the food truck right away. These funds will help her cover basic needs until she can work again.

Here is a little background: Her first surgery was May 12th to remove a cyst from her brain. The cyst was more difficult to remove than her surgeon originally thought. During the surgery they had to remove part od the pituitary gland which means Katie will now be on several medications to replace hormones that the pituitary gland makes. In addition to the difficult first surgery Katie had a CSF leak that required a second surgery to repair the leak. She has been in the hospital for two weeks now and is looking at least another week because she is still leaking CSF. She is having a procedure soon to put a drain in and will have to go back to the Neuro ICU. All funds will go directly to Katie
