Katie Vincent

Hi, my name is Auriane Earley and I am fundraising for the family of my friend Katie Vincent who passed away last Friday.

I met Katie about 2 years ago when I interviewed her for a role in my team at Sage.

On first impression, Katie was a generous, fervent and funny person.

Getting to know her a bit more after that I can tell she was definitely funny, in her very own ironic way. To only quote one of her lines: “I can confirm that for hand MRIs you go in like superman”.

Katie thrived on learning new things everyday and on inspiring and helping people. Those motivations led her to acquire an impressive curriculum, including:

- Mental health first aider

- Fire Marshall

- Mentor for TechUp Women

- Mentor for the Girls Network

- won the 2018 Future List for championing women and girls in IT

- Participated in the Empower Cyber event last year

Katie left us way too soon at 41, we had so much more to learn from her.
Her husband Paul, her mam and best friend, her dog Walter and everybody who crossed paths with Katie will deeply miss her.


The money raised here will go to Paul to help towards funeral costs.
