Katie Wertz is a talented dance artist and active community member residing in Wet'suwet'en Territory (Smithers, BC) who needs financial support. We, a small group of her friends, are fundraising on her behalf.

Katie is a dedicated mother of two who excels in creating inclusive dance experiences for individuals of all ages and walks of life in our community. Katie’s dance practice prioritizes accessibility and exciting artistic exploration. Her recent project, Body Landscapes, delved into the art of creative movement outdoors, and included multiple community opportunities for dancing together. Katie also recently held a series of creative movement sessions for children, and would love to continue.

Any support provided to Katie and her family will contribute to the development of Katie’s artistic endeavors and support her health by aiding in alleviating their financial burden. Within our community, Katie has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing care and support to others.
