Katie Lasky Lovebomb needs our help

A few days ago Katie was given 4 hours left to live. She was bleeding internally and if she hadn't gone into the hospital when she did she wouldn't be here today. The surgery saved her life and now she needs to heal, both physically and spiritually.
I'm with her now at her house. She is in a lot of pain and on bed rest. She should be in a hospital for the next two weeks, but because of how her current health insurance is structured, they won't cover it and Katie and Beau simply can't afford it.
She will be on bed rest for at least two weeks as her body heals.
It's heartbreaking how much Katie has had to endure her entire life. But through it all, she has found strength and through the strength, she has shared her story and helped people find their own strength and shown us that we aren't alone.
Every single person Katie has met has a story. She connects with people in a way I've never seen before. She has so much love to give and it matches the pain she has endured.
Katie and Beau are both amazing people. They need our help and they are so so so grateful for any and all support.
If it were up to Katie she would live in a van and not have any belongings. Beau said if that's the case and they lose the house, and they end up bankrupt he would be fine with living in a van too, as long as they have each other.
But right now, a van wouldn't be the best thing for Katie. Which is why I've set up this gofundme for them. To help them with the bills, the medical fees, and the medicine that they have to pay for out of pocket. Living with chronic pain and illness is incredibly debilitating and expensive.
Katie doesn't deserve any of this. No one does. And it's times like this when our families and friends become our insurance. We are here for Katie the way our friends and family would be there for us. Every dollar helps. Together we can help Katie and Beau, and we can be the strength and support that she needs.
If you can donate I will be forever grateful. But there are other ways to help too. Please share this page and when you do, add a story about how Katie has helped or inspired you or what adventures you have been on.
And actually, if everyone could share their "Katie" stories that would be amazing too. I would love to collect them all and have it made into a book for Katie and Beau to have.
We love you all. Thank you.
