Katiuscia Monteleone Carella

Our mother was a special soul who radiated love and kindness. She was an amazing mother of 3 and a wife. She put her heart and soul into all she did and it showed. She was our best friend and teacher, our shoulder to cry on. We love her more than words can describe. Never did we imagine to lose our mother this soon, let alone during such a sensitive time in our lives when she was needed most. Just two weeks ago, she found out she was going to be a grandmother for the first time and was overwhelmed with joy. For those two weeks preceding her passing, she was nonstop planning and raving of the new chapter in life we were all about to journey through; her daughter being a first time mother, & her and our father being first time grandparents. Although we never imagined having to go through this without her, we know her spirit will guide us through it, as well as her grandchild. This unexpected tragedy has turned our world upside down.

Katie loved her family and was always thinking of her family's future.
