Hi everyone, my name is Laura Carrero and I’m hoping you can all help raise funds for my friend, Kathy. Kathy recently worked her tail off to become a certified nursing aid, going to classes during the day after working overnight, all while raising her kids, and was assigned to a client who loved her when she had the misfortune of being diagnosed with an aggressive stage 2 cancer. She is a mom to three beautiful young children. Due to home and car trouble and the loss of her job due to cancer, bills are piling up. The anxiety of how to provide for herself and her children while worrying about her health is more than one person should bear.

Kathy is easily one of the most generous, kind people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. Prior to becoming a nurse’s aid, she drove a school bus and was absolutely adored by the kids! It’s not hard to see why once you meet her!

I’m hoping that together we can give Kathy a little relief, some room to breathe while she focuses on getting back on her feet!
