Calling Katy’s Army

Katy’s Army, it is with the most grateful and humble hearts that we come to you today with an overdue ask. We’ve finally gotten the green light from the leader of Katy’s Army to set up this page. In addition to your continued prayers, we are asking for your help with medical expenses related to Katy’s newest treatment plan. She has exhausted all other options and and therefore decided to pursue an alternative treatment with her functional medicine doctor beginning January 2021.

Katy has been fighting this war with cancer for the last 10 years. She has battled radiation, removal of  her eye, chemo, failed clinical trials and many ups and downs along the way. The cancer has now metastasized throughout her body including her liver and bones. Specifically the tumors on her spine are causing compression fractures which have caused immense pain and impacted her everyday life. In typical Katy fashion, she fights through the pain every hour for her husband Jeff, sweet daughter Sadie and every single person she interacts with. 

Through it all, her strength comes from the Lord and continues to be an inspiration to us all. We are here to support her every step of the way and we know His glory will be seen through her strength.
