Katy Tr. Ride to Honor SEAN MARTIN
Donation protected
Saturday, October 7 will mark the third anniversary of losing Sean Martin - a beloved friend, son, brother, uncle and dog parent - to suicide. In honor of Sean I have challenged myself to cycle 250+ miles across Missouri on the Katy Trail. I will start in Pleasant Hill, MO on October 31 and end in St Charles, MO on November 4, the day Sean would have turned 45 years old.
Along with raising suicide and mental health awareness, I'm raising money to donate to the You Be You campaign (www.youbeyou.us), whose mission is suicide prevention and promoting mental health awareness in teens.
Sean mattered to so many people, but his illness robbed him of being able to see that. It is my hope that by raising awareness and funds for this incredible campaign that people who see suicide as their only option realize they matter too.
A small portion of funds raised will be held for bicycle emergencies along the trail. Whatever is not used will be donated back to the fund.
Thank you for considering. Any amount helps.
