Kaukau-Opunui Ohana from Lahaina Maui

The Kaukau-Opunui Ohana (Darren, Penny, Chauncey, & Kerstan) is one of the many families affected by the Lahaina wildfires. The good news is everyone is uninjured and was able to make it out safely. However, they are faced with a terrible situation just like many families from Lahaina. They lived in their home near Lahaina Jodo Mission for over 30 years. Like many, they lost everything in the fire and are looking to try and rebuild their lives. All of their personal belongings and the home they have built memories in for all these years have been lost. Lahaina is a place that is dear to their hearts and where the Opunui ohana and Kaukau ohana have been raised for many generations. Our main goal is to get them back on their feet and back into the town that they love, Lahaina. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Mahalo and God bless!
