Kavita Kumari's Funeral and Transportation

This is a campaign to support Kavita Kumari’s family with their loss of a beautiful soul and the costs to be endured to transport her body to her home town in India to perform her last rites. Everything donated will go to her family, therefore any donation regardless of the amount will be greatly appreciated. She was the only earning member of the family and she had taken a heavy loan before coming to Canada.

She was really committed to paying off the loan and providing a better future for her family. I can vouch for her dedication because I had the pleasure of working with Kavita at a restaurant in Brampton and I can guarantee that all her colleagues really miss her. She had the ability to brighten up anyone's day with a few jokes and she was always full of energy even when working a night shift.

We have truly lost an amazing soul who was only 26 years old and an international student currently on her work permit. She is mostly recognized as being a very kind and down to earth person who would literally do anything for her friends and family. She had a wonderful personality and it’s still very difficult to believe that she will no longer be a part of our daily lives.

Kavita will definitely be missed by her mother, father and two younger brothers who reside in India and have not seen her for quite some time. Her family is currently in deep shock and are trying to overcome the death of their young daughter. During this time it would be very difficult for them to arrange for the transportation of Kavita's body to India. Therefore, we have decided to create this GoFundMe in order to support Kavita’s family at this time of great despair.

The funds raised through this campaign will be used to cover the cost of the plane ticket, casket and funeral in India depending upon whether a transportation route is available at this time. In the event, where there is no idealistic mode of transportation, the funeral will be conducted in Brampton, Canada after being granted permission from Kavita's family. Furthermore, the remaining funds after covering the costs will be provided to Kavita's family in India. We have consulted with Kavita's family and have been granted permission to withdraw the funds and transfer them to the family outside of GoFundMe. We will definitely update you once the arrangements for her funeral have been made.

This has truly been a shocking death considering that she was completely healthy when she went to sleep with no medical conditions. However, her roommates discovered her in an unresponsive state in the morning. Sadly, this is the true nature of life, you never know what each day brings for you, so please take care of your loved ones and stay safe. We really miss you Kavita. May your soul Rest in Peace.
