Help kids in the Philippines

 My name is Harold Mortel from Quincy Mass, because of the pandemic, the public school 50 percent students in the Philippines are still doing online and modular classes as mandated by the government. Because of the learning format, not all students have access to resources for learning despite the efforts of their teachers and the local government unit. Students are challenged since they need gadgets for online learning, and school supplies for modular activities.

 

Our group, (Boston Filipino Basketball), would like to support the public students of Balayan, Batangas, Philippines by raising funds to provide them with school supplies. Most of the parents of these students are challenged to provide school supplies for their children because most of their jobs were affected because of the pandemic. Our goal is to help them by raising $2000. Remaining proceeds will go to the daily needs of families in the community.

 

I had a generous Doctor from Mass General Hospital  that already had donated tablets for the students in the Philippines  (see pics)
