Kawa’s Medical Treatment

A group of past Teachers is seeking your assistance in raising funds for Kawa's medical expenses. On Monday 18th May, 2020 our past student, son, brother, and friend, Kawa Williams was gravely injured In a scooter accident. Thanks to God, the doctors and nurses at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith hospital, he’s still with us. Unfortunately, Kawa has suffered a fractured skull which is impairing movement on the right side of his body. The ligaments in his knee are torn and need to be reconstructed in order for him to walk again. These surgeries cannot be executed here and he must be airlifted to a hospital in Columbia that can treat him.  NHI will cover 80% of his surgery expenses leaving 20% for his mom to pay. It is our desire to help her cover this amount as well as other expenses she’ll encounter while being in Columbia with him. We’re asking for the help of our community near and far.
