Kay Barnett’s Surgery

My name is Laura Barnett and I’m hoping to raise funds for a very important person in my life-my amazing mother-in-law, Gran, momma, Kay. She had a fall and has recently found out that spinal surgery is going to be necessary,

sooner rather than later, to alleviate her pain and prevent possible paralysis.

This amazing woman is one of the most giving, selfless people I know. She has raised 2 amazing children, and helped raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She has a heart the size of Texas, which has resulted in her adopting 4 dogs, one pig, a piranha named Bonnie, and 4 cats. She is continuously involved in helping others, from stockings for love to support local families during the holidays, to helping her great grandson (age 8) organize a blanket drive for those in need. She rarely thinks of herself and instead focuses on her family and friends and helping others.

She is now in need and not one to ask for help. Insurance is an issue, and while she is working with the doctors, there are still going to be hospital and doctor bills to pay and she will be unable to work for a while.

All funds raised will go to Kay/Gran’s medical bills and to helping her pay her regular bills while she is recovering. We are hoping to alleviate some of her worry so she can focus on her recovery.
