KAY FOFO - EVERY KID DESERVES ARTS!

I want to invite you to support KAY FOFO which will offer a FREE 20 weeks after school program to K-12 kids in Thomassin 48 and in Tikotfè Lagonav, Haiti from February 1 to June 20, 2021.

If you are an educator, an artist, an art lover, or a parent; if you are a patron of the arts or a community member who values the continuation of arts education, and if you are a former member of AFOUTAYI, JAKA or any other company promoting Afro-Caribbean culture please consider helping KAY FOFO so we can offer a FREE 20 weeks after school program to K-12 kids in Thomassin 48 and in Tikotfè Lagonav, Haiti and help them survive COVID-19!

Since the COVID-19 crisis started and kept escalating as the cases of violence, kidnapping and killing in Haiti making people desperate, stressed and traumatized. Unfortunately children in Haiti are the first witness and victims when crises of violence are escalating that way. It is heartbreaking to know and see horrors like this happening to children. As a child, and adolescent who grew up in Haiti, I have experienced and engaged in things that individuals at that age should not have to endure.  What saved me and put me in the right path was dance, the love of my family, and the support of the art community who invested in me. 

With a communal effort we can make a difference in the lives of others.  Even one life saved is a step in the right direction. Therefore, I invite you to take action and donate what you can.

Your donation will support a child in KAY FOFO spending quality time in a safe environment with a loving and qualified staff that care for children. Your donation will inspire and challenge each child to unlock their true artistic potential. Your donation will guarantee each kid a place where they can get a snack every day for 20 weeks. Your donation will give children hope for a better future. 

I know this year has been tough for everyone but I know we can come together and inspire hope through giving, be involve in something with meaning, and make a lifelong positive impact in a community at risk. Helping KAY FOFO offering FREE after school program to 50 children in Thomassin 48 and 50 children in Tikòtfè Lagonav, Haiti is easy as ABC!

A. $20 - Snack for one child for the entire 20 weeks program 

B. $100 - Supplies (school supply + hygiene supply) for one child for the entire 20 weeks program

C. $285 - Snacks, supplies, instruction and activities for one child for the entire 20 weeks program
