Kay (Kinga) Kriston

With a heavy heart, we announce the sudden passing of Kay (Kinga) Kriston. Sadly, Kay's life was cut short tragically on Friday, June 10, 2022.

Kay loved skiing and had a passion for the outdoors especially sailing in the Collingwood harbor. Kay had a positive outlook on life and, above everything, was a wonderfully supportive mother to her 17-year-old daughter Sarah.

Sarah was Kay's shining light. Together, Kay and Sarah loved to travel, hike, ride bikes, camp and especially to ski! Kay's proudest moments were watching "Speedy Sarah" race at TSC and later at Alpine Ski Club.

Kay was such a huge supporter of Sarah. She raved about her accomplishments and provided a loving environment for her to flourish.

Kay was looking forward to seeing Sarah graduate this year and for her to start university in September. It is beyond devastating that Kay won't be there.

Funds raised will be used to create a memorial for Kay where the community can go to remember this larger-than-life woman as per Sarah's wishes, and to support Sarah moving forward.
