Help With Kay's Funeral

My name is Emalea Blinman, and I am one of the granddaughters of Kay and I have made this go fund me as unfortunately we do not have enough money to cover the entirety of the funeral. Any money donated to the go fund me will go towards the sendoff that Kay wanted and will be very much appreciated from her family.

On the 25TH of November 2024 we lost our dearest Kay Marriott (70) she was a Mother, Nana, Granny, Sister, Aunty and friend to many.

She spent the last 36 years living in Bowral NSW where she worked as an aged care nurse in nursing homes and community setting. Throughout the years she showed care and compassion for those who she worked with and looked after. Kay would drop what she was doing and go and help you with whatever was needed. Though out the years she had always had an open-door policy for whoever needed help, whether it be a place to stay, A chat or a hot meal. Kay was the light in many lives and made friends wherever she went.

Over the past 5 years kay had suffered from ill health that had resulted in her having to retire from her beloved job early. The last year she had spent in and out of hospital with many issues trying to stay alive but unfortunately, she just became too tired from fighting for so long.
