Kaya goes to Dublin!

Hi loves. Exciting news…Kaya has been invited to go to Dublin, Ireland! She will be communing with her peers from all over the world to discuss advocating for social justice.She was awarded a $4,600 scholarship to help cover the $5,750 tuition. The remaining $1150 is due March 1st. We are trying to raise that along with airfare , which is in the 1,300-$1,500 range. Gene and I are working several jobs but with cost of living these days, we just don’t have the money. Kaya is a 4.5 gpa student involved in several extra curricular activities such as hockey, yearbook, and the school paper. She is working with her classmates and city council on a project for the graduating class of 2023, and has a small job on the weekends. This kid deserves this trip and I’d love to see it happen for her. Anything helps. Even just kind words of encouragement. Thank you for taking time to read and possibly donate.
