Kayin and Leilany

In late 2020, Kayin came into our life and in March of 2021, we adopted Kayin into our family. It hasn’t been without its challenges, but it has been an amazing experience. Despite the struggles he faced in childhood and the hardships he has faced in his life, Kayin is a wonderful hardworking young man and has a zeal for success that is hard to find.
On July 19, Kayin was on his way to Phoenix with his fiancé when his car had a blowout pulled off the road and rolled over. He was airlifted to a trauma center where we learned that he had 3 fractured vertebrae. After surgery and two weeks in the ICU, he has been moved to a rehabilitation center. He currently has no movement in his hips and legs, but he is hopeful that he will regain the use of all of his body and find joy in the simple things in life like going for a walk or wrestling with his 5 young siblings.
On top of this hardship, Leilany is also caring for her two younger sisters ages 15 and 17.
My wife and I are helping as much as we can to cover all medical expenses, but we are hoping that you are willing to help them as they are struggling to pay the bills on their own. We are looking for a little bit of help for Leilany and Kayin so that they can stay afloat through this tough time.
