A family that needs help

Hi my name is Kathy and I’m fundraising for three teenagers and their mom. Mom was successfully supporting three teenagers when she had a severe stroke. She is paralyzed and unable to work. The oldest child gave up a college scholarship to take care of his mom. I met his brother when the siblings were going door to door asking for yard work. The oldest is starting 2 jobs but will not get paid for several weeks to a month. Rent has doubled because he will be working 2 jobs and mother’s  oxygen expenses and medication not covered by her insurance. She is 54 years ian’s  is scheduled to receive SSI disability which will only cover a small portion of their expenses. The teens are smart and resourceful but usually only eat cereal maybe one other meal Their money expenses are what you would expect for a family of four living in Austin.

It will be a month before the oldest will be earning his full salary. Brother will be training as a mechanic. I need to stop using my savings. Thanks to the generous support of 12 donors we have raised 1000 dollars. I need your help to help them transition to this new life. All money donated will be given to the family.
