Kaylee Gabak COVID recovery expenses
Donation protected
Kaylee Gabak is a frontline worker at the Commons in Auburn, New York. She served as a CNA for her entire pregnancy during the pandemic. At 9 months pregnant she contracted COVID and delivered her beautiful daughter Charlotte on December 26th, while suffering from COVID. On December 28th she was released from the hospital, only to return to the hospital on the 29th with difficulty breathing. On December 30th, Kaylee's condition worsened and she required intubation and was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital. Kaylee has a very long road to recovery ahead of her, as she is currently intubated, sedated and paralyzed. On January 3rd Kaylee was put on ECMO, the highest level of life support. Kaylee's life partner is caring for their newborn baby, and will not be able to return to work immediately, which is causing financial hardship for their family. With both parents out of work, costs for living expenses and the added costs of a newborn baby will add up quickly. Please consider donating, so the family can focus on Kaylee's recovery and baby Charlotte's care. Any amount is greatly appreciated. The family would also appreciate your prayers as they navigate this most difficult and challenging time.
