Kayleigh's Heart Transplant

Kayleigh is a 9 year old,  4th grader at Perrin-Whitt  Elementary.  Kayleigh was taken to the Dr and sent home from the Dr stating nothing was wrong.  On 10-9-2020, Kayleigh’s mom took her back to the Dr and then sent her to the local hospital.  This hospital then sent her to Cook Children’s in Ft Worth, where she was placed in the Cardiac ICU with heart failure. On 10-11-2020,  Kayleigh was transported to Dallas.  The lining around her heart was thinning and her heart was weakening.  Kayleigh was on the verge of a heart attack and was in very critical condition.  On Monday, 10-12- 2020, Kayleigh had surgery to put in a heart pump.  She is in ICU at Children’s Hospital in Dallas awaiting a heart transplant.  She is in stable condition, but is needing continued prayers and monetary support to pay medical bills.
