Kaylen Gehrke's Funeral Services

My name is Korry Thompson and I am Kaylen's cousin. With the permission of Kaylen’s immediate family, I am creating and sharing this Go-Fund me. As many of you know, our family tragically lost our beloved Kaylen Gehrke on July 11, 2022 while on a dig site in Louisiana. She had just moved to Longview, TX last month to be closer to family and begin her career. Kaylen had a passion for archeology and had just begun what we all know would have been an amazing journey for herself. Kaylen meant so much to so many people – she was an amazing daughter, a very loved and adored little sister, a niece and cousin to a very large family who loved her dearly, and a special friend to all. Everyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with Kaylen had no choice but to love her vibrant personality and big heart.

I am creating this Go-Fund me in hopes that family, friends, and the community will help Kaylen’s family as they go through this incredibly difficult time. There will be significant costs associated with transferring Kaylen from Louisiana to Montana and additional costs for Kaylen’s parents and sister to travel and be able to stay in Montana while all arrangements are made and services are held. I would love to give Kaylen’s family peace of mind from the extra financial burdens so they can focus on what is important at this time – which is being there for each other and celebrating the amazing life of Kaylen.
