Kaylen's down payment for her 1st car

Donation protected
Hello everyone! I'm here to hopefully raise money to help my 16 year old daughter with her down payment for her 1st car. This is extremely difficult for me to do as I'm not one to ask for help but unfortunately I'm finding myself these days planning out my children's future's without me in the picture in the event my health were to go south. As many of you know, as of a few weeks ago my breast cancer has spread to my lungs putting me at stage 4 triple negative metastatic breast cancer resulting in over a month of on and off hospitalizations, the start of chemo infusions again and being on oxygen 24/7. This just so happened to all start the week Kaylen turned 16 on June 5th and we had planned to go car shopping Monday June 12th which is the day I ended up in the hospital. Even under these circumstances with this news and the change of plans this young lady has managed to keep working her 3 jobs( not because she has to but because she chooses to), help keep our household running smoothly and taking care of our dog while I was gone all while processing her mom's new diagnosis and how this will directly affect her life. As many of you know Kaylen and see her working the consession stands at our local sporting events or up in her lifeguard chair at our local pool keeping our little ones safe, you'll see her beautiful contagious smile and positive attitude even though life hasn't been so fair lately. Even throughout the 2 years I've been fighting, this girl has managed to keep A's and B's in school and always puts her best foot forward in all her sports. I know we all rant about our kids and we should! She is pretty darn awesome and she shouldn't be faced with so many obstacles at such a young age. I can't help but want to take as much pressure off of her as I can moving forward so she doesn't have to worry. I have a car picked out that I am trying to get her. It is an AWD 2015 Chrysler 200 with low miles. Its a nice car that she wont have to worry about breaking down on her once a month. I want her to be in a safe reliable vehicle. Kaylen has saved up over $1,000 this summer. That's tough for a teenage girl who really loves shoes!!!. As I keep fighting this fight its only natural to think "what if". The only thing I can think about is making sure my kids are happy if I don't get through this and prepare their futures the best I can. Thank you for any and all support for my family during this hard time. Even if you can't donate, every thought and every prayer is very well appreciated! We love those too and need as many as we can get! Love, Chelsea
