Kayliegh Ivall Memorial Fund

It is with a deep and profound sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved Kayliegh Ivall, tragically snatched from our lives at the tender young age of 14.

Born December 13, 2005, Kayliegh Lena Diana Jean Ivall will be remembered as a spunky young chick full of moxie and vigor, who truly marched to the beat of her own drum.  She was brilliant, outspoken and strongly tied to her convictions!  Kayliegh spoke up for what she believed in and she always stuck up for the little guy; a testament to her beautiful and amazing soul.  She was far beyond her years in terms of compassion and understanding as she loved and accepted people for who they were.

Kayliegh loved animals, her very first dog and bestie for life, Padme passed away a couple of years ago, which devastated her for a very long time.  Kayliegh really loved her pets, in particular her dog and cuddle buddy Chubbers, who slept with her every night and Kenzi’s dog “Tinky Bum” Nyx.  She often shared with her mom that she wanted to be a veterinarian when she grew up. It is clear that Chubbers misses her too as he lives at the window wishing, watching and waiting for her to come home.

Kayliegh was beautiful, kind, sweet and oh my goodness did she love to sing!  But most of all she was Mom and Dad’s little girl, and MacKenzi and Kodi’s baby sister.  She was loved intensely by her entire family near and far.  And then she was ripped away from us.

Keri Girardin and Les Ivall are living the nightmare that no parent should ever have to endure.  On Sunday April 26, their delightful, 14-year-old Kayliegh was out in the neighborhood, riding around on her scooter, just being a kid; Only she never made it home.  Thirty-six terrifying hours after she was reported missing, Keri and Les heard that knock on their door that no parent should ever receive.  They were informed that their baby girl would never come home again, and that Kayliegh was a victim of foul play.

Understandably, her parents are devastated and her whole family is reeling from shock.  It is hard enough losing a child, but imagine it being caused by malice.  Further, imagine not being able to say good-bye in a meaningful fashion, not be able to provide a proper service and a celebration of life.  But this is where you can help and ease some of the financial struggles for Kayliegh’s family.  Your monetary support will help them give Kayliegh the service she deserves and to help her parents and her siblings through this very difficult time.  They deserve better, KAYLIEGH deserves better. We hope that you will see it in your hearts to help our family through this incredibly devastating time.  Every contribution, no matter how big or small, WILL make a difference.

Thank You …. for all of your compassion, thoughts, prayers and love during this time.  The kindness coming from the community has really been felt by our family.

We love you so much Kayliegh…you’re always within our hearts, our thoughts and our precious memories.  While there is nothing that will ever take away this pain, we are so grateful having loved you and known you because you truly were one of a kind. If there is one thing that brings us even a modicum of peace, it is that you have been with reunited with Padme because we how much you have missed her.  We know you are safe now with Grandma Jeannie and your Great-Grandmas we know they will take good care of you.
