Kaylon's Battle

Greetings to all, My name Is TaNya Howell. This support page is being created to humbly request generous contributions to help cover burial expenses for my 15 year old nephew, Kaylon Amir Ross-Howell. Kaylon was diagnosed with Brain Cancer(Glitomatosis Cerebri) in November 2018. We found him unconscious in his school bathroom October 31,2018. Prior to this day, he had no known medical conditions. This is a rare primary brain tumor. The cause of Gliomatosis Cerebri are not known, and there is no cure for this type of cancer. Modern medicine attempts to treat with radiation and chemotherapy, but it only buys time, does not cure. Prior to this illness,  Kaylon enjoyed playing basketball, comedy, wrestling, laughing, and video games. Eating was another favorite, and spending time with his family. Kaylon has 4 siblings, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Since his diagnosis in November, he's no longer able to enjoy even the simplest moments. Because there is no cure, his condition has rapidly declined. He has lost his vision, the ability to walk, as well as eat. We have now been informed that the cancer has spread to his spine. He has transitioned to home hospice from the Mott C.S. Michigan of Medicine University Hospital in Ann Arbor and will be kept comfortable for the days to come. His mother, Nandraya Howell, a humble, loving, hard working, single parent, simply could use your help. As any parent, the burden alone of having to bury your child, is also compounded by the financial challenge of burial costs. We are specifically in need of financial assistance towards the cost of burial expenses. While we understand and know that this is God's plan, we ask that you allow his hand on your heart to help us during this trying time.
