Cafe dream come true

Hi everyone! My names Kaylyn, I was born and raised in Stillwater, MN. In early 2017, I found my faith and jumped into my road to recovery from drugs. I went through 5 months of beautiful healing and came out whole again. In 2018, I began to start life over here in Monticello, MN. I had a beautiful little boy shortly after arriving here, and found myself my 1st serving job when he was just 4 months old. I fell in love with the restaurant, with this new path I was on. I had never been able to hold a job due to my addiction, I felt so blessed. I caught on quickly and felt I had found my home away from home. In 2021, I took the management position. As the days went by I was amazed that I was so capable of being this person I always wanted to be. My knowledge and love to learn grew stronger every day. I took on learning everything I could; baking, cooking, catering. I enjoy every minute of it. I was so blessed to be in the position I was, when guests started asking me if I was the owner. I started to think... I could do this... I want to do this. I started getting more involved in learning how the restaurant functions on all levels. Preparing myself for my dream. I have slowly but surely been fixing all my wrongs I made during my 7 years of addiction, but my credit is not in a place in this moment where I could take a loan out to take over this cafe. I have thought about everything I would need to get the best start possible for me and my team. The building is old, the cafe isn't up to date. Cosmetic things can be done as time goes on. I have met with the owner and negotiated lease terms we both agree on. I want this so bad.. for my team, for the community, for myself. This little cafe brings so much joy to so many people.

Down payment- $20,000

(Includes new flooring)

1st month lease amount- $3000

1st cycle of payroll- $15000

One refrigerated prep cooler- $2200

First product truck order- $8000

$300 to cover fees
