Kaymen police shooting victim

My little brother was shot by the salmon arms police, in the head n shoulder, he is in critical condition in Kamloops hospital. His mom ,dad n 2 older sisters raced out to Kamloops as soon as they found out. We are not from Kamloops we are from Coquitlam and we could really use help for hotels, gas, ect. We are unsure of how long he will be in ICU and we are not leaving his side so any an all help will greatly be appreciated.
Kaymen is not perfect he did have a warrant for missing court so I can understand him being spooked when he seen the police. He was unarmed and I honestly don't see him putting the police in harm's way. They shot at him over 15 time with assault rifles, riddled his truck with bullet holes and thankfully they only hit him twice. He was hit in the front of his head n it existed out the back leaving a big exit hole I always thought if the police were to use their gun they were to to shot to stop a criminal not to kill. He's a young kid with a heart of gold who was from what we gather in the wrong place at the wrong time, and we think the police handled this completely the wrong way, n there is an independent investigation happening so we hope if they were in the wrong the police will be held accountable for what they did.
