Kay's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Shelley Reynolds and I am writing this on behalf of Kay George. As many of you know Kay is the first one to reach out to help when someone is in need and right now she is in need of a little help.
2017 has not started out well for their family in regard to medical/insurance issues. Grant needed to have his ACL repaired the end of 2016 but they pushed it to January 3rd to meet this years deductible. He will require 6 months of physical therapy. Trent then broke his hand in February and in March some long standing health issues with Brittany culminated in a 7 day inpatient stay which will require continued therapy. This has caused a huge financial strain for her since she depends on our lovely Obamacare. Also, all these expenses fall solely on Kay's shoulders since her ex-husband is a non participatory father. In order to get the process started I loaned Kay the initial money needed for Grant's surgery but there have been consistent outlays of cash by Kay to pay her $14,000 deductible and then the additional 20% copay. (Grant's surgery bill alone was $90,000)
Krissy Wadley and I wanted to make Kay's friends aware of this situation in hopes that you would consider assisting Kay during this trying time. Kay is always the first person to help anyone - friends, co-workers, school friends, strangers, etc. - in anyway she is able. Please consider contributing to our fund for Kay as any amount would be a huge benefit to her family during this difficult time and ease some of her financial burden.
