In Loving Memory of Kayven Hopper

Kayven unexpectedly passed away due to health complications that at this time are not fully understood on November 30th. Kayven was a 9 year old boy who loved adventure, eagerly tried anything and could light up a room with his smile. He loved participating in cub scouts, karate and playing with his friends. He had the biggest heart. Everybody who met Kayven was impacted by his kindness and huge heart.

The unimaginable loss of Kayven has been especially difficult on Steven & Kacey, their family and everybody who was blessed to know him. In times of tragedy, it’s important for us to come together and support one another. Kayven was a beloved member of the community, and we are raising funds to help cover the costs of the funeral, medical costs and other expenses. Memorial Services will be held at Smith Family Mortuaries on Dec. 7 at 10 am in Derby, Kansas.

A visitation will be held Dec. 6 from 5-7 pm.
