Ken Karn - A Battle Against Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Jerry Karn.
My oldest brother is Ken Karn. You may know him as a graduate of Charlotte High School class of 1979, a husband and dad of 2 daughters, a lifelong player of stringed instruments, and all-around good guy.
Unfortunately, this January Ken was diagnosed with a devastating Grade 4 Glioblastoma (terminal brain cancer). Since being diagnosed, Ken has undergone a Craniotomy, Radiation, Chemotherapy, and has had to heal from physical complications that result from the chemotherapy and other drugs.
With the help of his wife, Tammy, and her countless hours of research and dedication, he is doing everything that can be done to beat the odds and prolong his life.
Since February, his illness and treatments have severely limited Ken's mobility. Several home repairs and updates are needed to improve accessibility and improve Ken’s quality of life. These updates, combined with travel expenses due to medical visits across Michigan, will burden the family with expenses that aren't covered by their insurance.
Therefore, I am reaching out on behalf of Ken, appealing to friends, peers etc., to assist Ken and his family by donating to help cover these expenses.
If you’d like to show your support, please do so here. All the funds raised will go toward helping Ken, who has dedicated his life to his family, his faith, music, and being a kind friend to anyone who crosses his path.
Please consider donating and/or sharing to help Ken. All donations are tax-deductible.
