Kimberly's Medical Fund

My name is Kimberly and I just found out I have colon cancer. I'm recovering at home after having surgery to remove a 15cm tumor, 7 inches of my colon, lymph nodes and my appendix. I'm looking at a minimum of 6 months of aggressive chemotherapy. I realize the next upcoming months are going to be extremely rough, emotionally and financially. I'm mostly optimistic but scared of the unknown.

I started a new job recently, so I have very few sick/vacation days and don't qualify for short term disability. The surgeon expects me to be off of work for a minimum of 3 weeks. I have no idea how I will pay the hospital, surgeon, doctors' bills after not working for weeks, and I have no idea how much I will be capable of working during my treatment.

I'm being asked, "What can I/we do to help?" I don't like asking people for help, but my friends have encouraged me to create this account for that purpose. Truthfully, I cannot even fathom how much the bills will be, but I know they won't be small. Please consider donating towards my medical bills. Any help would be most appreciated.
