Help Mr. Brown with medical costs

Mr. Mike Brown teaches at a small school in Cotopaxi Colorado. He has been a math and track coach for many years, teaching myself, my boyfriend, and all my friends. On Monday night, his well known generosity and loyalty to all he knew was used against him. A former student, knowing the character of Mr. Brown lured him to what she hoped would be his demise. An article quotes “The defendant went to the home of a previous teacher with a story about a vehicle being broken down and he was lured by the defendant to a U-Haul,” LeDoux explained.
Brown drove Plante to the U-Haul in his Jeep Cherokee. “He was stabbed four times and taken by Flight for Life to the hospital where he, miraculously, apparently is going to recover.”
Richards said Brown was in stable condition Wednesday.
Brown, who had no cellphone and no glasses, told authorities the man who attacked him wore a bandana on the lower half of his face. According to the affidavit, Brown’s head also was slammed into the ground during the attack and his attacker attempted to slit his throat, but he held his hand in front of his throat and instead received a cut to his hand.
Brown said he jumped into the car of an innocent bystander for protection. That innocent bystander’s car was then rammed by Brown’s Jeep Cherokee, which allegedly had been stolen by the defendants. The defendants then fled in Brown’s Jeep.

Today we have set a goal to raise funds for the medical costs for our former educator, coach, and mentor. He will undoubtably be in need of financial aid due to the severity of his injuries, the damage due to his vehicle and his loss of work due to injuries sustained. It is our goal to help him in any way possible at this time with that financial relief so he may focus solely on recovery.
We have raised the goal to 10k after raising more than our goal in a day. We don't necessarily plan on making it to 10k, but I wanted to make sure we don't cap it! We should raise as much as we possibly can!
