Larry Welch Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Good afternoon,
We lost a mother and her son, who succumbed to COVID-19 virus. On the evening of March 28th, Larry C. Welch, of Navajo Mountain, Arizona was admitted and transported out to Flagstaff Medical Center. He lost his fight on March 31st at 12:30 am. He stayed behind at his mom’s resident to care for livestock. As far back as we can remember, he’s had the routine to check on his mom to make sure she had necessities and hauled water for the animals his mom loves.
As a Gulf War Veteran in the early nineties, Larry proudly served in Operation Desert Storm as an 82nd Airborne Army Infantry. He was honorably discharged and talks about his duty days in Berlin, Germany from 1988 – 1994. He was a member of three organizations: Veterans of foreign War, Disabled American Veterans, and US American Legion.
His mother, Maryann Welch lost her fight on April 1, 2020. She lived a simple rancher’s life. She was a strong prayer warrior for her family, living and fighting the good fight of faith!!
The family is organizing Larry Welch Memorial Fund to help with expenses. We raised so far $850.00 since opening the account on 31st of March. We appreciate all those who have contributed.
Larry was a big advocate for his Veteran family. In memory of him and all Veterans, the family will open this fund to also help other victims, especially Veterans and their families, of COVID-19. Your donations are very much appreciated.
