Fix bear’s heart
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Krystal and I’m fundraising for my dog bear. Bear is a 3 year old black lab, he is very energetic, loves his family, loves the water, loves treats and is every persons dream dog!
A few months ago he went to the vet for some minor issues but then found out that bear had an enlarged heart, brought him home and he rapidly declined. He became bloated with fluid and struggled to breathe so then took him back to the vet where they drained 3 bowls of fluid. The Vet informed us that he was in heart failure. We had been trying to get a appointment with a cardiologist but weren’t able to get one for four months out. The Vet then called about a new pet hospital in the next state that could get him in the next week. We took him in and the cardiologist did her work up and he was diagnosed with a genetic heart defect called tricuspid valve dysplasia and tricuspid valve stenosis. I was then informed that we could do a surgery that would help bears condition and prolong his life significantly with the help of medications. Without the surgery he will won’t live much longer. He will also need more X-rays, ultrasounds, fluid drainage, blood drawn and medications. We are newly weds that don’t have the funds to save him so we are asking for financial help and sharing this to help support our dog! We appreciate any contribution! Thank you!
