Bring Ray home

Ray is an energetic, outgoing and hard working man as well as always helping out people in our community. He enjoyed many hobbies like classic cars, motorcycle riding and being a jack of all trade or just tinkering in his garage. Most of all he enjoys his time with family, grandchild and friends.

In January 2020 Ray was diagnosed with an abscess on his brain that has paralyzed the left side of his body.
Ray underwent two brain surgeries one of them being a hemmoragic stroke while trying to drain the abscess the second one was five days later that successfully drained some of the fluid from the abscess. In March 2020 Ray was transferred to our local hospital and is receiving daily physiotherapy and occupational therapy. The unfortunate thing is that he is still paralyzed on the left side of his body and may never walk again.
We need to raise funds to help cover the costs of mobility and accessibility items like ramps, powered wheelchairs, overhead lift tracking, along with numerous smaller items. He will also need private duty nursing and long term health care as well as the largest item being an accessible vehicle.
We need to have the home ready for approximately 3 months from now.

With the current worldwide pandemic dooming over us all government offices being closed and the need to social and physical distance this is a safe way to reduce the virus spread. Applications for any government grants etc. would not be processed in time for us to have our house prepared for Ray to come home to us.
