Hi All,

I am setting up this crowd fund with a heavy heart, because our beautiful, kind and caring friend Victoria Critchlow has recently passed away at the young age of 37, after a long courageous battle with Breast Cancer. Vic had fought a long hard battle over the last few of years against this awful disease, and throughout it all, she has remained positive and focused, on making sure her family would be ok once she was gone.

Her funeral is this Friday 04th June, and many of you I have spoken to have asked me if there is anything that can be done, because she was a much loved person by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. You only have to read all the lovely comments that everyone has left, and you soon get to appreciate she was one in a million, a person who radiated kindness, love and warmth. Comments like she “lit up the room, she was an amazing human being, extremely kind and beautiful soul”, the list is endless.

She had worked in the travel industry since she was 16 years of age and known for her straight talking, on point and great advice to all who worked alongside her. As a result, she was widely respected by many suppliers around the world.

In her private life Vic was a wife to Dave, together for 17 years, the bond between them was very strong and they loved each other immensely, enjoying a life of travel and looking after their much-loved cats and dogs. All she every wanted was to complete her family with children and did so by adopting two twin girls, Beth and Amy at the age of 3, (now 9). These beautiful girls idolised Vic, and she soon became the mummy they had always wanted. She was a natural, treated them like her own, and ensured they were very much- loved. She worshiped the girls and they very much worshiped her too. As a mother of two girls myself, I was in awe of Vic and her ways of parenting.

It feels the only fitting way to show Vic how much we loved and cared for her, is to ensure that Dave and the girls are looked after, and when they are ready, to help them create new memories in honour of Vic. Please can you make a donation to support the family during these very difficult times.

Vic would be very happy to see this kind gesture for her family, so thank you in advance for your generosity.
