Dear friends and family,
     Our sweet T, Kristi (Cain) Witt Kinkade, has been diagnosed with Stage IV cancer. She went to have a scan for lower back pain and cancer was found in her lymph nodes. After numerous tests and several additional scans it was determined that she has Adenocarcinoma  Cancer of the Unknown Primary. The doctors/ oncologists can not determine where it originated; only that it has spread to several lymph nodes throughout her body and is extremely difficult to treat. She has gone to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX but unfortunately there is nothing the oncologists there can do for this type of rare cancer.
     She is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments in Tulsa with the focus being on palliative care. This is medical care focused on improving quality of life for people with a serious illness. Kris is only 44 years old. She is married to Roger Kinkade. They recently celebrated their 15th anniversary. They have 4 children, Lauren (25) Korby (21), and their two boys they have together, Nicolas (14) and Trace (10).
