After many years of battling Type 2 Diabetes, Juliet is now faced with Stage 5 Kidney Failure. Her kidney function is presently under 15%. The doctors have requested to start dialysis immediately .
As a result of this Kidney Failure, Juliet is faced with several other serious health issues. Her Red Blood Cell count is low and she is in need of a Blood Transfusion. The doctor is reluctant to do so at this time as it could cause a rejection of the kidney if a transplant occurs. She is severely Anemic and also has a severe Vitamin D deficiency. There is presently fluid around her heart and severe swelling of the legs and face.
She will need to be under close supervision by a Nephrologist, who has suggested monthly visits and blood work to measure the rate of decline.
We are asking for donations to assist with medical care. At this time, Juliet doesn't qualify for medical insurance and anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
