My name is daniel and like most of us this year have had my world turned upside down due to covid-19. When covid was begining to be known to the world i was working in a lab inside a hospital in providence, ri. It was something i had worked to get too where i was, an a place i loved to work at. But due to underlying health conditions due to a compromised immune system i could not work for too long and was instructed by my doctors to resign. Unfortunately through some lack of luck i contracted covid while working in a warehouse shortly there after in mid september. And from there spent 2 months battling to get better.
Ive been out work now since september 23rd, and have bills and expenses piling up without the ability to return too work yet. Been hoping to catch a break taking out money from my 401k to stay afloat with little luck. We have exhausted any and all options at this point to have enough to keep a roof over our head for much longer
I live with my uncle ( whos in the picture with my 4 yr old german sheperd ,and our cat ), hes retired and on a fix income so most of the bills and utilities where paid from my job working at the hospital.
Weve exhausted every option. And at this point praying for better days

Besides being the main income for our household i took care of maintaining the house as much as i could, our house has needed a lot of work that i can no longer continue to do because of the effects covid has had on me ( im constantly nauseous now because of my meds and antibiotics to fight the effects of pneumonia from when i was sick, i have very little energy, and now need an inhailer if i cant breathe which i have never needed before). Ive been looking for remote work, but still dealing with the effects of covid and now since everything is somewhat opening up i can begin to see my primary care doctor and my hiv specialist which i havent seen in person in almost a year. My cd4 has increased a bit, but im nowhere near good enough to proceed with most things i need to do medically.
at this point just hoping for some sort of break
