Update 10/12/23-

Cindy had fallen a few days ago after having a mini stroke and broke her hip. She is currently in the hospital and had surgery on this.

They had to wait until her Bp came up and her wbc count came up too. Please, please if you can keep sharing, putting Cindy in your prayers everyday. Her Family thanks all of you as do I .

Hello All. I am Laura setting up this page for a very dear friend of mine.

I’m writing this with a heavy yet hopeful heart. This is Cindy. She is my beautiful

Friend and one of my close friends mother.

In May of this year Cindy was diagnosed with Cancer. After dealing with extreme pain in her legs and hips. Lung cancer and Bone cancer.

Both of these combined has spread throughout her body including her brain.

The lung cancer diagnosis is unique as she has 2 strands of lung cancer She was

Informed by the Cancer center that her treatments are going to be very aggressive to

Try and combat both cancers. She has gone through 10 radiation treatments and has started

A 12 dose chemo treatment. 6 of which are double the normal amount.

In July the inevitable happened. Cindy lost her hair. Losing her hair was like losing her

Security blanket. We all know that is not something everyone can handle. Cindy

Is one strong beautiful woman who is fighting through all of the extensive pain from

This cancer and the trials that come with treatment.

She has had friends and family make her hats and buy her one with hair attached so

She can feel somewhat normal on this dreadful experience.

Cindy has gone through only 2 of these chemo treatments as her white blood cell count

Was too low at one and the next which was planned for the 29th has now been indefinitely

On hold as she had an MRI with contrast done on the 24th due to extreme pain in her

Hip and lower extremities.

This is where they found more spots ( of cancer) that the radiation didn’t touch.

So, now we are back to doing more radiation.

She has increasing large fractures of her pelvis region and in her vertebrae.

Cindy goes back for radiation on the 29th and a simulation to see where exactly the new

Cancer spots have appeared.

Then on September 22nd back to have her brain scanned to see what those cancer

Spots are doing. If they had been successful in ridding of those or not.

Cindy continues to remain positive and her faith guides her each and everyday

She takes a breath.

This Go fund me is going to provide Cindy with funds she desperately needs to

Pay medical costs accrued by this extensive and now extended treatments.

Cindy is probably one of the most loving, giving, honest, women I know among

A wonderful Mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend.
