Friends of Scholes Park

We are raising money to fund new play equipment at Scholes Park. 

The Friends of Scholes Park are trying to improve the play area for local families, children and young people in the community to enjoy. This year many of us have realized more than ever the importance of having outdoor spaces where we can relax and enjoy ourselves. Over the last two years Friends of Scholes Park have raised funds and worked with the council to install a circular seating unit, three community raised beds and two new pieces of play equipment. We hope to do even more to make it a fun play area for local children to enjoy. Please help us to raise funds for  a Trim Trail ( a picture of the equipment is shown below).  The Friend's group  will be working hard to apply for funds to pay for this obstacle course but your donations  are also needed to help us to meet our target!









Who are Friends of Scholes Park?

We are a community group set up to make improvements to Scholes Park in Gatley. Scholes Park is an area of 3.9 ha of green space which includes open fields, large playing fields, a sports club house, a running track, woodland areas and a children’s play area.
