Help my mom recover after losing her home!

Meet my mom, Linda Jones. (Yes Jones is her real maiden name)

Recently, My mom’s apartment burnt down leaving her with nothing but her dog Sugar. The insurance claims on the building were denied because the building was run by a property management team that tried to save money by keeping the building dangerously out of code to the catastrophic demise of the now x-tenents.

My mom isn’t the only one dealing with this. There are dozens of people (mostly elderly immigrants) that are destitute because of the careless actions or rather inactions of a selfish property management team.

We don’t know how long it’s going to be if they are able to rebuild and my mom’s homeowners insurance only covers her living space temporarily. After that, she’s on her own to pay for an apartment and a mortgage for a home that burnt down.

And on a CNA’s salary, that's damn near impossible.

So, we’re asking for your help.
