Keagan’s memorial
Donation protected
As many of you now know we lost my little brother Keagan on May 7th. We hesitated on sharing details of his death but want to bring awareness to this problem . On may 3rd at 10am my mom found Keagan in his room she thought he overdosed and gave him Narcan . He was responsive and taken to the ER in an ambulance. Once he got there we were told he had been in the same position for such a long time it caused compartment syndrome and muscle breakdown in one of his legs. He had an emergency surgery to relieve the pressure in his leg and came out of surgery intubated and in a medically induced coma. After he made it through all of that we were then told because he had muscle breakdown it released a lot of toxins in his body that caused his kidneys to completely shut down. For 3 days keagan fought to get better, he was on dialysis and other things to help . Things were looking good but on May 7th at 2:10am his heart stopped for an unapparent reason . They tried for 45 minutes to get him back but couldn’t. None of this feels real and we’re all in shock but we hope he’s happy and at peace now . Keagan struggled with a lot of things and made it through a lot of things so it’s hard to understand how or why this happened. Keagan deserved a chance to make things right and to do right . Despite everything he was an amazing person with a huge heart. He would do and give for anyone without question . And if he was there for you he was always there for you. He was a great son , grandson, brother, uncle and friend and he took apart of us with him when he left. He was always so happy around the kids and they loved him so much . Any donations will go towards his memorial and cremation costs and trying to relieve any stress of my mom as possible We hope Keagan’s story can reach or help somebody at least . Anybody struggling with something like this knows it’s a horrible thing but most of the time you don’t think of things like this happening as a complication. Thank you everyone for the continued support
