Help Neven and her family to evacuate Gaza war

Hello, it's Hana Abel. I am friend of Neven Salim and her family who's in Gaza now. I have been thinking how can I help her and her family to escape Gaza for so long since they have been through a lot. Finally, I started this fundraiser to help them evacuate Gaza as soon as possible.

Neven's story:

Hello, my name is Neven, a Palestinian children’s Illustrator. I have been immersed in this field since 2008. Starting from scratch, I collaborated with various local entities in Gaza. The onset of Covid marked my transition to freelancing, propelling me into the spotlight in my sphere.

From 2020 onwards, I delved into projects with international clientele. I crafted numerous children's stories, partnering with renowned organizations like the Red Cross and WPF. In each stroke of my art, I infuse a unique spirit, cherishing my craft. My aspirations include participation in international competitions, harboring the belief in securing winning one day.

With a roster of clients and ongoing narrative creations, everything shifted dramatically on October 7th. It's challenging to create for children when one's heart is weighed down by the horrors witnessed. The relentless acts of violence have drained my creative energy, amidst enduring bombardment and severed communication lines, leaving us isolated within Gaza and cut off from the world beyond, resulting in loss of clients.

As the primary provider for my family, I've been out of work for six months now. I tragically lost my sister because of cancer, and my brother sustains injuries. Thus, I've started this fundraiser seeking assistance to temporarily relocate my family to Egypt, allowing me to resume work and care for my brother.

Our goal:

To make Neven and her family evacuating possible, I've launched a fundraiser to cover the evacuation costs to the Egyptian border. The fees cost $6000-8000$ per person. (They are family of 10)
