Keele University Paramedic Society’s 24-Hour CPR Marathon

Keele University Paramedic Society’s 24-Hour CPR Marathon
Keele University Student Paramedic Society are taking on a 24-hour CPR marathon to raise as much money as we can for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Our initial fundraising target is £1,000, but we’re aiming to raise as much as possible for this vital cause. If we reach our first goal, we’ll keep pushing to raise even more! The event kicks off at midday on Thursday, 6th March, and runs continuously until midday on Friday, 7th March inside Keele Students’ Union downstairs.

Members of Keele Paramedic Society and other volunteers will take turns delivering uninterrupted CPR throughout the challenge. Anyone is welcome to get involved and you can volunteer using the "CPR Marathon Rota" link in our Keele Paramedic Society Instagram bio.

Additionally, Paramedic Science students will offer hands-on CPR training to university staff and students using specialist mannequins—an opportunity to learn a vital lifesaving skill.

Join us in supporting this incredible cause!

About Midlands Air Ambulance Charity
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity funds and operates three air ambulances and a fleet of critical care cars, providing lifesaving services across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, and the West Midlands. Relying solely on public donations, the service costs £13-14 million annually to maintain.

Serving the Midlands and Welsh border region, Midlands Air Ambulance provides critical helicopter emergency medical services. Entirely funded by public contributions, the charity plays a vital role in treating patients involved in severe road traffic collisions, trauma incidents, and urgent medical transfers—where rapid response and transport to a trauma hospital can be lifesaving.

As student paramedics, we witness firsthand the dedication of ambulance teams working tirelessly to save lives. To continue their incredible work, they need essential training, equipment, and support. Your donations help ensure they can keep making a difference—every contribution truly counts.

Thank you for your support!
