Keelen Wong legacy and us helping you to Learn to Live.

Donation protected
Hi my name it’s Nadine Searchwell, I’m the mother of a young man called Keelen Morris Wong. My son was killed by knife crime October 3rd 2023 at the age of 22. Keelen was killed in middle of afternoon at 4:43 at his local shop. I want to set up a support system for families going though these devastating situations. I’m asking for your help to make this happen. The money donated will go towards therapy and counselling for families and people who witness these situations, the NHS therapist your allocated may not have the experience or expertise to support us with what we go though.
Helping families with on going support with memorials, anniversaries and loved ones birthdays as we know it’s a life time expence. It’s an ongoing expense even though we have lost someone.
Keelen loved skating so I want introduce this into schools curriculum to help young people with fitness, communication and confidence.
Another thing Keelen loved was gaming/streaming where he spent substantial amount of his time doing this and I would love to get young people into doing that but in a safe and fun way.
Keelen was well travelled, i feel that young people need to experience this but don’t have the opportunity to explore different parts of the world and help than build better relationships between parents and children. Young adults need to get into life skills for there future, that includes jobs, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, driving lesssons and parenting skills. So with the Keelen Wong Legacy we will aim to help parents and young people with these things and more.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks parenting is hard and we don’t get the support needed. Parents not knowing how to communicate with there children because of our own traumas. I’m not saying I can solve all issues or that it’s even be fixed over night but I really wanna try and work with other families that feel the same way. Keelen was a loving young man I wanna show young men it’s ok to be loving and emotional, it’s ok to confide in your parents and peers. We can’t wait for the government to step in because look what’s happening around us. Knife crime is taking over and I don’t want another parent feeling like I do and others. We also need to fight for tougher knife crime sentences. I love posting my son everyday showing the world how amazing he was and that he is not forgotten. So I’m asking for you to help me do that so I can help others. How do we expect our children to stand together if we don’t as a community.

This charity will be transparent, showing you step by step where your money is going. Helping you have faith in what we will be doing and enjoying the experience of change as it happens.
