Keely Makes A Wish "see the Northern Lights!"

My dearest friend Keely is an inspiration and light to everyone who is fortunate enough to cross paths with her. It is my deepest and most sincere wish to give back even just a little of what she has shared with us in one way or another. Keely was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012 at the age of 26 and has since been through chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple breast surgeries. One of her more recent surgeries was to get her implants removed. Shortly after, she moved to Tucson from Seattle last fall and the community immediately fell in love with her contagious spirit. A group of women came together at the beginning of this year to honor her story with an empowerment photoshoot. Beautiful images and moments were born out of this incredible experience we all had with Keely. We were moved to tears and walked away with so much gratitude witnessing such beauty emerging from a long, challenging, and painful experience. This is Keely. She is the one who lights up a room when she walks in. She is the one that asks you questions because she genuinely cares about who you are. She is the one that asks you if you're okay, even when she is not. Selfless, nurturing, inspiring and a complete joy to be around. Shortly after this photoshoot we received the news that Keely has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, all while in the midst of a pandemic. She is currently undergoing treatment and navigating this time with so much grace. This chapter has brought many challenges, uncertainties, and just plain terrible circumstances to the table. Now it's time to offer some hope, relief, encouragement and most of all NOURISH KEELY'S DESIRE TO TRAVEL. Of course we don't know what travel looks like in the near future, for Keely, or for anyone. However, giving Keely something to look forward to and dream about is something we can offer her. It has been on her bucket list to travel to Iceland and see the Northern Lights. With all of the medical expenses and restrictions it makes it hard to put traveling on the list of priorities, but I am hoping that this helps prioritize her wish. With these funds raised we hope to send Keely to Iceland with a loved one for 7-10 days when the time is right, where she can take in the beauty and experiences that this life has to offer. We are so grateful for your support of this beautiful being, Keely. We love her so much and always want to encourage her spreading that contagious smile.
