Help Support 1369 Coffeehouse Baristas During Renovations
Donation protected
We're the workers of the Inman Square 1369 Coffeehouse, and we need YOUR help.
❤️ How Your Donation Helps
Starting on March 3, the Inman Square 1369 will close for 3-4 weeks for necessary renovations.
We're grateful that our management is covering our base wages and helping us promote this campaign. That said, tips make up a huge portion of our income, and without customers coming in, we risk falling behind on:
- rent,
- car payments,
- groceries,
- and other basic living expenses.
That's why we're asking you to contribute anything you can to help us get through this challenging month.
☕ Why 1369 Coffeehouse Matters
For thirty-two years, 1369 has been a pillar of Inman Square. We love carrying on that tradition - seeing our regulars' smiles when they walk through the door, memorizing people's names and orders, serving a damn fine cup of coffee, cultivating community in an increasingly isolated world.
We work hard, we love this neighborhood, and we love each other.
❤️Why This Matters
Our work keeps this shop thriving. We are nine workers from all walks of life, united by a passion for craft coffee and community.
We're now facing hard times, we're asking for the community's support. Can you donate to help make ends meet while the shop is closed? All donations will be shared via cash app transfer directly to our team that has been impacted to cover their lost tip wages.
Join us, and together we will build a world where baristas can still afford to live where we work.
Thank you.
P.S. For those who don't know me, my name is Kime, and I'm Matt's girlfriend! You might have seen me in the shop recording for the GoFundMe video for Matt to edit and voiceover! With experience in operations, I offered to help with this GoFundMe. If you have any questions, please reach out!
